These are not just theories—these are strategies that have truly made a difference in my life, and they might just do the same for you.

Speaker 1:

So my top three hi, how are you? If you haven't met me, I'm Damaris Mary Grossman, I'm an integrative family nurse practitioner and I'm talking about endometriosis One, unfortunately, because I have had have endometriosis and I just want to be an advocate for other people to understand ways to help with the treatment. So today I'm talking about just some quick pain relief options, and it's just three. So we're going to talk about breath work. Uh, ways to with breath work would be diaphragmatic breathing I have videos on that, so if you want to check them out on YouTube, diaphragmatic breathing, gentle stretching, yoga, incorporating child's pose, cat cow and a little bit of pelvic tilt and movement in the lower abdominal area. And then I also love hot compresses, castor oil or a heating pad because of the inflammatory response, usually in the abdominal area or the uterus area.

Speaker 1:

Now, um, for my endometriosis that I suspect I'm not fully sure I have it in my back, my ribs and like all down my leg. I think it's probably just. You know, I'm probably one of the nerves. I'll let you know further once I find out. But I know that for my treatments that the hot packs and heating pads do help. I have another video on different treatments for pain relief. But this is just a quick tip of top three. If you guys have any that you use, let me know. I'll put it in the show. Have a great day and make sure you have a mindful day each and every day.
